Well. Here I am a lapsed Catholic who’s found her way home, beginning Christmas traditions on her own, after ignoring them for many years.
Well, as a teenager, with Confirmation behind me and no more CCD, Tradition became just “something we do.”
Wanting to bring up my children in the Faith, with all the traditions it entails, web surfing has a new meaning. It is so nice to have answers and explain things. And I can counter when my XH puts down the traditions of my family. Yes I have to have a “cheat sheet” to remember why the manger scene souldn’t get put away until mid January, but that’s OK.
I just wondered if anyone else has that peace because of their faith. It is amazing.
