Christology Books

Hello All,

Has anyone read the books A Christological Catechism: New Testament Answers by Fr. Joseph A. Fitzmyer or An Introduction to New Testament Christology by Raymond E. Brown? Are they Orthodox? They both have the Nihil Obstat and Imprimatur. Any feedback is welcome. :bounce:
 
I like Fr. Brown (not Chesterton’s character, though I like him too) and he is “moderate” though the SSPX types consider him a heretic. He is the scriptural equivalent of Karl Rahner, Yves Congar or Henri de Lubac. But being a heretic to the SSPX people is about as good a compliment a theologian can get.

I don’t know Fr. Fitzmyer.

Anyone read the above mentioned “christological*catechism”? Thoughts on Fitzmyer?
