Is Christopher Dawson still a useful/practical historian to read nowadays? I am thinking about getting some of his books, but I am asking in hopes that his books are still relevant. Thanks
Of course. He didn’t just address contemporary events of his time, but the development of thought throughout history, especially the history of the Church. I’m a big fan of his, as were many great Catholics of the 20th century like J.R.R. Tolkien.
