Christopher West - Theology of the Body

A few years back I listened to West’s 8 lecture series on the Theology of the Body. Very moved by the teachings and mostly impressed by how West delivered Pope John Paul II’s message.

I decided to buy some books and to read the original papal audiences. Full stop. I could not understand. I left it for a while and then came back to West’s lecture series. Moved again by the message, and mostly impressed by the teacher. But, when I looked on the TOB website for more resources (I listen a good deal while driving), there was nothing there except drinks cup for sale. Searched Amazon and eBay for CDs/MP3’s - nothing.

What’s up anyone. Has West gone out of favor and pulled his material? Is there any other author who has talks on TOB that you are aware of?

Having now been pointed to Christopher West material, can his teaching be relied upon to be in line with the Church?

I don’t know too much about the information you got from Christopher West, but I have heard that there are better teachers now.

Perhaps someone else can give more (name removed by moderator)ut.
