Christ's 2nd Coming

This is a topic that I muse about all the time, and just thought I’d put it up for some discussion. Obviously, only God knows the day + time. I’m just wondering if there are any Scriptural “predictions” or milestone events that haven’t occurred yet that should/must to set the foundation for Christ (or that were perhaps conveyed during a Marian apparition, etc.). That, and I wonder: Will there ever come a time of peace and appreciation for the Church and life, or are we all just slowly but surely heading into history’s darkest time period ever? Or whether any of us will be alive for this coming?

This is just for discussion and musing – nothing is to be taken seriously.

The goal is not to predict anything. Christ Himself teaches patience and holiness. I just want to have a conversation about the Second Coming if there’s anyone interested.

Since 1917 at Fatima we know that there will be a general apostasy, followed by a chastisement, and sometime after that, the Second Coming.
