Chronic prostatitis?

Hello All,

Need you help - anyone went though chronic prostatitis (it’s very painful)? Been diagnosed ~1 year ago. Been on medications, herbs, diets. Had 4 doctors… all suggest method which is … let’s say not in morally acceptable by Church.

Got doctors referral to massage massage therapy… this is my last chance - anyone had any experience or know anything about chronic prostatitis?

Don’t know what to tell you. I had 3 surgical procedures to treat an enlarged and inflammed prostate, but massage was never offered as a solution. I wish I could advise you. I assume you are younger than I am, so before anything is done be sure to talk to your doctor about (dare I say it) possible erectile disfunction or retrograde ejaculation. Both of these conditions can occur if any kind of envasive procedure is done. I will follow this thread. I am really interested in how it turns out. Meanwhile, I will pray for your recovery and peace of mind.

Yes, the Chronic Prostatitis is difficult med condition, especially for practicing catholic - not just because of advice given by family doctors and urologists, also because the condition is not getting improved much…

And guess what - this is misinformation too. Sorry to say. For at least for 90% of cases
1st - advice is given by cardiologist, not by urologists.
2nd - dealing with symptoms (prostate pain) is one thing. I am not here to brag about it. Just want to say the treatment may not be possible for some.
3rd - still doesn’t give the understanding what causing it, so how do you help it to get better?

Thanks to my urologists to send me to therapist for treatment ( and this treatment is not what is described in link below) I learned the condition is not prostate related… In this changes everything.

The only way my illness (a gynaecological disorder) disappeared in entirety 18 months ago (when I haemorrhaged daily heavily for 6 months) was after praying The Holy Rosary twice a day for a couple of weeks. I fully trusted and further had confidence in Jesus that He would take this dreadful condition away that had caused severe anaemia, a great loss of weight and chest pains despite double iron supplements, red meat and tuna etc,

Pray The Holy Rosaries twice a day Vick fully trusting and fully having Confidence in Our Heavenly Father, The Holy Spirit and Our Brother (Our Holy Almighty One)
