Does anybody know of a really good book on church architecture, with an emphasis on the interior layout (e.g. narthex, ambo, bema, nave, transept, apse, sanctuary, etc.) and how these Christian sections have their origins from Jewish and Roman structures? Reference to Eastern Christian use in relation to liturgical prayers also would be helpful. I need to give a presentation on either the narthex or the nave in several weeks. If the book is available on amazon that would be great, too. Thanks!

Except for those of us who can’t read Russian 👍:D!
I went to Google Chrome and used their translator extension located in the app store on a ‘New Tab’… Works real good.
