Modern Catholic church architecture just has not been very good. Many of the new churches look like protestant churches now. Thankfully a parish near where I live is an exception to that. Holy Trinity parish in Gainsivlle, Virginia is the most beautiful and reverant parish church I have ever seen. They have a Tridentine Latin Mass there too which is an added bonus!
I used to live in Williamsburg, Virginia and I do have to have to critisize St Bede Parish. It it has this huge lobby that looks like a social hall. The church itself is a semi circle where the Organ features more prominetnly than the Tabernacle which hides off to the side. There are also two less than flattering looking statues of Jesus and Mary. To me Holy Trinity shows what is right about church architecture and proves that we must hold fast to our traditions and reverence, whereas St Bede’s parish chruch shows what is wrong today
