Whether or not it is dogma, it should be quite clear that there is a visible Church on Earth. Otherwise, who would Christians be other than people who kept their faith to themselves. Jesus said…
[BIBLEDRB]Matthew 18:20[/BIBLEDRB]

Whether someone wants to acknowledge it is a different story, but there is clearly a visible Church. Christians who go to church, who have families, these are all evidence of a visible Church. If the Church were strictly invisible, then no one would talk about being a Christian, everyone would be subject to the secular culture, and would only be Christian in heart. This is obviously not the case. If people are visibly Christian, then they are a part of the visible Church as counterpart of being in the invisible Church (the Body of Christ). The fullness of the Church, visible and invisible, lies with the Catholic Church. Other Christians partake in that to some degree or another, but not to the full extent, as is our belief.

Is there a dogma about the Church being visible?
Yes, denial of visibility is ecclesial docetism… which is holding that the identity of the Church is not determined by form and matter, but by form alone.
