I have attended 2 closings of churches in our community within the last month. Both of these churches hold precious memories of my first encounters in the catholic community as a child. Due to dwindling numbers and financial concerns, these 2 beautiful churches are now closed! It is with a heavy heart that I say good bye to such fond memories and ask for prayers for the people of both parishes that they may feel a part of the remaining churches in our fair cities.
 
I am always :(sad to see the closing of a church. Prayers for all affected by these closings, and special prayers for the people who are having to find a new place of worship.:gopray2::gopray2:
 
Dear Jesus,

For all your children who have gone astray, Lord have Mercy on them.
 
Hail Mary,
full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
