Lord, help the misguided and confused to return to sanity.

"The fire that destroyed a Catholic church in Hacienda Heights Saturday was intentionally set, according to a sheriff’s captain.

The blaze at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 1345 Turnbull Canyon Road, was reported at 12:04 a.m. and burned for 2 1/2 hours, said sheriff’s Lt. Joe Chavez.

The cause of fire was initially believed to be related to some ongoing construction, but investigators are now saying the fire was intentionally set."

Lord, let whoever intentionally set this blaze repent and turn themselves in. Thank God no one was hurt in that fire. :gopray:

Yes, indeed. Apparently there were two priests and a seminarian in the rectory next door when the fire started.

My gosh, $8 million worth of damage…that is some fire. We had a church arson this weekend in the city of Burlington, Iowa but that damage was only $100,000 and the building should be repairable. However, I am not sure that is the case with the fire at St. John Vianney.
