It seems sensible that the Catholics should elect their own principles and other staff with a minimum of government interference, assuming there are no obvious problems with existing schools.I do not understand the culture enough to judge, but it does strike me as similar to what Communist China is doing. Appoint non-Catholics to head a Catholic school makes no sense, unless there is a deliberate decision to use school as anti-religious indoctrination.
