If you don’t wish to read the Diary yourself, perhaps you might at least read the entire linked Preface itself (my previous post was edited) because it is is loaded with credible sources which dispel some of the unsubstantiated doubts you try to raise. Here’s an example/excerpt - pertaining to the censure:

*". **SIGNIFICANT TEXTUAL INACCURACIES IN THE FORMER TRANSCRIPTS. ***:As compared to the original, the former transcripts have omitted entire pages, left out whole sentences, and changed a great many of the words, substituting them with others. The number of inaccuracies cited fill several single-spaced typewritten pages, it is not surprising, therefore, that the former texts met with censure and mistrust. And thus, for example, on page 7 of the typewritten copy, 8 mistakes were found; on page 25, 7 mistakes, on page 177, 8, etc. "

That explanation makes perfect sense to me and concurs with the quote provided by Jery111 in post # 10; and it rests on the compilation of qualified experts .

According to vatican Correspondant john allen JR, it was originally banned because Jesus promised an act of absolution only the sacraments can offer & excessive devotion to faustina herself. personally claims that the eucharist flew out of the tabernacle 3x & Jesus said to her “you are a sacred host” after she asked him to change her into the eucharist after recieving communion seem incredulous. “Christ” also called her “filthy” once. If Christ gave us all we need for salvation in public Divine revellation it seems unlikely he has to establish something else 2,000 years latter. I got nothing against those who pray the chaplet,but since its private revellation that never gets offered a garantee that its genuine,you cant reddeem everything you read should one believe it

This is an old thread from last year and died its’ natural death in April last year. The link in the previous post (reposting only the Opening Post to this thread) does not open in anything relating to St Faustina (possibly because thread and link is out of date) and it may have been removed if it was there initially.

John Allen of National Catholic Reporter has challenged The Church previously and one needs to approach what he does write with caution. Catholic Culture (reliable Catholic site) rates National Catholic Reporter as “Dangerous”.
