I’m looking to learn more about Guardian Angels. What kind of Church teaching is there on the matter? Also, if anyone has any recommendations for books, I would love to hear them.

That guardian angels exist and watch over each of us does appear to be a doctrine of the Church, per CCC 335 and 336.I’m looking to learn more about Guardian Angels. What kind of Church teaching is there on the matter? Also, if anyone has any recommendations for books, I would love to hear them.
I see that while the CCC states a belief in Guardian Angels they do not quote any official Church document on the subject. That every individual soul has a guardian angel has never been defined by the Church, and is, consequently, not an article of faith; but it is the “mind of the Church”, as St. Jerome expressed it: “how great the dignity of the soul, since each one has from his birth an angel commissioned to guard it.” (Comm. in Matt., xviii, lib. II).
Matthew 18:1010* "See that you do not despise one of these little ones; for I tell you that in heaven their angels always behold the face of my Father who is in heaven. *
