How do you answer someone who says that they cannot believe
that the Church teachings have not been corrupted down the centuries,other than that logic allows some people to deny the Holocaust ever took place?Denial of the Holocaust in Hitler’s time
is already happening,even though there are people still alive who can vouch for it.

The deposit of faith was “once for all delivered” (Jude 3) to the Church by Christ and the apostles and Jesus promised that “the gates of hell will not prevail against [the Church]". (Matt. 16:18) ““In order that the full and living Gospel might always be preserved in the Church the apostles left bishops as their successors. They gave them ‘their own position of teaching authority.’" Indeed, "the apostolic preaching, which is expressed in a special way in the inspired books, was to be preserved in a continuous line of succession until the end of time.” (CCC 77) We can (and often do) prove that Church teaching has been preserved over the centuries through the writings of the Church Fathers and a constant stream of Church documents.
