lets say a couple, by obtaining a civil divorce, could save tens of thousands in taxes owed to the federal governemt. could they licitly disolve the marriage in the eyes of the law, with complete unity to their religious oaths (they just are divorced on paper, they are still 100% together other than that). and stay completely faithful to their vows. would expoiting a legal loophole be a sin?
just something i thought of today in the car while driving. not a real life situation.
