Please, sit down and speak to your pastor. Christ wants you back in full communion!

I may seek some other christian church to attend as it seems I’m not welcome in the catholic one. Thanks to all who replied.Your opinions were much appreciated.

Wait! Did you talk with your Priest??? What did he say??? You can work through this! Do you love your wife? Do you have hope she will believe? You can stay with her and receive Communion. Make your case and your comfession!!

My prayer is with you, please pray for me!

Ps. Remenber, our pastors are there to serve, not to intimidate. Dont be afraid. Take the confidence of your faith and desire to receive Communion with you!

One thing, my neighbor was married and divorced. She married another man and they were married for years and years. After about 20 years of marriage and a couple of kids, my neighbor found out that there was a paperwork problem with her marriage license. She and her now husband were not officially married according to the State!

They did not get upset and decide to move to another State, they planned another wedding and had a big party.

Same here, you are a citizen of the Church as well as the State. You found out that your wedding may not be recognized by the Church, so, find out what you need to do to correct it and use it as a reason to renew your marriage vows.
