Does anyone know the Church’s ruling on the authenticity of ‘Clement’s Epistle to James’ found in the early church writings? Any links to articles, etc. would be much appreciated. Thanks
I doubt the Church has ever passed any formal judgment on them, but I think they are generally accepted to be spurious and part of the “false decretals.” See here:
