Cleric: Jews plant Gharqad trees to hide behind them

And what is a gharqad tree? I googled it, and all I got was Islamic propaganda.
 
It is an Acacia tree, Lycium Shawii, found through out Africa’s and Middle Eastern desert.

How is anyone gonna hide behind that thing?

No, be more worried about the Massad and the IDF than the shrubbery.

I should have been more clear. they should not worry about them hiding behind the trees but worry more about the people in the open.

African Boxthorn is a large shrub which grows up to 5 metres high and is covered in spines. The leaves are oval in shape and are 10 to 40 mm long and 4 to 10 mm in width. The solitary flowers emerge from the leaf axils and are purplish.

Ok. Thanks. it is a little bigger than a shrub, but not quite an oak or cedar.

for your kind information Muslims don’t believe that Jesus (p) died on the cross . It’s the Christians who believe so . May be , because of pressure from Jewish groups ,now a days Christians don’t want to say that Jews killed their lord . But in the past Christians used to say that on Easter .

Jewish & Christians holy book also tell u that in the past jews were arrogant & they killed some Prophets . If u don’t believe me , read Nehemiah.

Quran & hadith described what happened in the past & what will happen before the last day. Just to please non-Muslims , we can’t deny those facts .

I asked a Christian if he is ashmed of killing of anti - Christ (p) by his lord . I did not notice his reply yet . If it’s ok for Christians to believe that Jesus (p) will kill after his second coming , they how come Muslim’s belief is so hateful ?

May I remind u that Quran described Jews & Christians as people of the holy books. Quran tells us how jews were blessed & punished in the past . OT also tell the same 🙂
 
Well…they are very beautiful trees. And as relatives of the acacia group, maybe they smell really nice, or even have sweet resin too. Heck, I wish I could grow one, but I don’t think they’d take to this soil and climate.

Maybe Jews don’t plant them for any reason except that - perhaps it’s orthodox Muslims that DON’T plant them because of this teaching. But Muslims still maintain the best natural growths of Mastic trees (I believe the last truly ancient ones are maintained by an ancient tribe in the Empty Quarter), and like many cultures, love the acacia and its products as well as other resin-gum trees, like myrrh and frankincense. The entire world has had a millenia-long love of these trees.

All I’m saying is, hey, they’re trees. And probably a lot of people who have them in their fairly-arid gardens simply like them as they are, without any awareness of any religious taboos and so on.

In Australia, the African Boxthorn was introduced as a garden or hedge plant in the mid 1800s but is now viewed as a serious weed.

I’ve said it before and I will say it again. Jesus is NOT going to end anyone’s physical life when he comes again. One more time for everyone in the cheep seats: Jesus is NOT GOING TO KILL anyone when he returns. He is going to send the evil anti-chirst and his FALSE PROPHET into hell, which is spiritual death, but he is NOT going to execute anyone.

  • Who said believe and live.
  • Who achieved a holy victory.
And still following the one who:
*- Born from an earthy man.
  • Allah calling him my slave.
  • Who couldn’t perform any miracle.
  • Who allowed polygamy of 4 wives, yet he took for himself more than 20 women.
  • Who was a life taker.
  • Who practised violence.
  • Who used an earthy metal sword.
  • Who said convert or die.
  • Who declared a holy war.*

I dunno. If I were Muslim, I wouldn’t be talking about wars against Israel. Last I checked, they called the “Six Day War” that name for a specific reason.
