The EPA acknowledges that we are affecting climate change. The question of this thread is why does protecting the envoirnment seem to so often fail as a religous obligation?

Climate change is not related to human activity.

Pollution is.

I think everyone is in favor of minimizing pollution.

I disagree. BUt let’s say you are right. We all seem willing to ignore the problem of polluting our enviornment as long as we maintain a certain level of personal comfort.

The air and water in the United States have been getting cleaner every year for the past 30 years.

This is primarily due to the actions of the EPA, started by Nixon, and the Clean Water Act, passed by Bush Sr.

Republicans support common sense environmental policy, and so do I.

Leftist environmentalists seem to want a world without humans.

I don’t think that is good stewardship!🙂
