You called yourself a “supporter of climate change”. I was trying to point out that it really doesn’t make sense to call yourself a “supporter” of climate change if you are trying to stop climate change.

Cold weather even really cold weather can still happen when the climate is warming. Global warming does not mean that cold winters will not happen. I mean for instance the artic is one of the fastest warming places on the earth. But it is still really cold up there.

The reason it changes is because of the earth’s wobble. We are finishing up what is called the precession of the equinoxes. But this was all figured out in the 1970s without computer models. We know that the earth is cooling, not warming.

Huh? the earth isn;t cooling. And I think your thinking of the milankovitch cycles which cause the ice ages and I think gets us out of them too. And of course more the these cycles affect climate.
 
I’m jealous my grocery bag thread has yielded no personal attacks, no Copenhagen sagas and no global warming debate. Contrats, prodigal, you have the magic touch.
 
what I don’t get is that in the middle of a recession, why are we worried about this stuff? I mean we are insignificant little pimples on this great earth, and God made it for us to live on and use! now these wackos want to control the human population for the sake of the earth while in the same breath saving the wolves and seals. this is twisted stuff. “global warming” has been PROVEN to be a hoax with manufactured data and “climate change” is perfectly natural.

Thank God I still have the guts to drive my big smoke blowing diesel truck, raise my farting cows, use regular light bulbs and plastic grocery bags. someone has to stand up to these fear mongering environmentalists that have a PURELY political agenda. so I guess I too have “climate change rage” …directed straight to the likes of Al Gore!

just my 2 cents, whatever it’s worth.
