“We don’t simply want to compete with Planned Parenthood, but that we could one day replace them,” she said.

👍

Planned Parenthood wanted $150 for an ultrasound - that is expensive! The pro life pregnancy center was offering them free!

Thanks for sharing this. What a great Idea…

I have long harbored the idea of putting “baby” and “children” friendly stores close by planned parenthood locations…But this…This is just great…👍

Well this certainly is interesting! No mention of how this noble effort is being funded, which will be critical to success.

Speaking of which, this article was eye-opening, as I never really understood that PP charges for these services. Why then are they receiving federal funding? What’s the catch? Do they charge for abortions, or just for promoting life?

AWESOME STORY!

I loved what he said at the end, “offering women and girls real choice, and real freedom.”

AMEN TO THAT!

God bless the women who run this clinic!

I loved what Planned Parenthood said, that they’re a “fake clinic.” I guess in order to qualify as a real clinic you have to kill unborn babies.

This is an awesome article. I posted it to a friend’s facebook page, as she does the Walk For Life every year for a local Pregnancy Clinic, I definitely thought it was a great article worth sharing.

It’s not a wonder that young woman are confused as to what to do, when our own President stated “If my daughter makes a mistake, she shouldn’t be punished with a baby.”

A baby is not a punishment.

My niece was going to be aborted. Instead, my sister used the money to move closer to her family. Then, she was going to give her up for adoption, but decided instead to keep her.

That was 13 years ago, and I seriously cannot imagine how my family’s life would exist without her. She is the most precious, brilliantly smart, funny, just AMAZING young woman I’ve ever had the pleasure to know and love.

And to think of what could have been… that she might not have existed… I cannot even begin to think of my life without her in it.

We have a similar clinic here in our town, Mary’s Choice, right next to PP. They offer many of the same services, too.

We have several pregnancy assistance centers in my area. I volunteered at one briefly. In addition to free pregnancy tests and ultrasounds we also offered STD testing, parenting classes, and we had a “library” of maternity and baby clothes where the women could check out clothes and return them when they outgrew them and get a new outfit.

I loved volunteering there. I hope I can volunteer at another one when I’m done with school. There is nothing like the feeling you get hearing that an abortion minded woman chose life for her baby after seeing her ultrasound.

None of these are next to a Planned Parenthood though. I think there is only one in this area.

Planned Parenthood charges on a per-income basis. Their services are free if your income falls below the poverty line.

Abortions are not free at Planned Parenthood. Some clinics may work with groups that offer “help” paying for them, but Planned Parenthood does not offer free abortions.

Which is why they tried to charge the girl with less than $20 in her account $150 for an ultrasound?
