Close relative in need of urgent hip surgery

The other day, phoning home, I was told that a close relative of mine lost consciousness and fell to the floor. Then it seems that both of his hips are broken and he is in need of an urgent surgery, because if not he could die from internal bleeding. He has recently survived a severe pneumonia, and now this happened.

He is old and has Down’s syndrome, yet I am unable to understand why some people keep seeing those who suffer from mental illnesses as a burden when they are equal to God’s eyes. Is is not Our Lord in the sick?

Please, could you pray for him? Whatever God’s Will is this time, he needs Mercy and Love too.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (Kyson). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Kyson’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen
