Clown Mass? What is it?

exactly my point, who cares what americans think? exactly what is your political agenda here?
catholics are not offended by this. only non catholics. ie protestants and schismatics. and communists looking to bring down the end of our way of life.

there were two other videos posted here as well. only protestants would object to this. as they often object to anyone dresssing up for halloween. they are also against praying to the saints. they just can’t see anything spiritual or holy in all of this except evil. because they have this big fat log in their eyes.

should we stop praying to saints and dressing up for halloween too just because a whiny protestant doesn’t like clowns?

My political agenda?

My only agenda here is to give my Lord the respects He deserves. We are offering up His sacrifice (you know the one where he was brutally killed in my place for a sin I committed.) And the way one would honor such a sacrifice is to dress up like a clown or devil.

I am sorry that you think I am some whiny protestant but you are sadly mistaken. I am just so heart broken that there are those who feel it is perfectly okay to dress up as a clown or a devil at our Lords sacrifice.

I am sad whenever I hear people attacking the mass saying its abusive to Jesus when it clearly isn’t. I think its offensive to Jesus and the church as a whole to make the claim that these masses are offensive to Him.

I happen to believe that both of these masses are giving honor to jesus’s message. that is the whole point of A homily.

I don’t think these are disrespectful to Jesus at all. perhaps pharisaical catholics are offended and that’s ok by me as I am sad whenever schismatics abusively complain of abuses in the liturgy on a technicality. its sort of like they are always looking for trouble where there is none.

i just don’t agree with the liturgy police or the n. o. police. and neither does the pope it turns out.

The homily is not the whole of the mass. In case you forgot there are two parts of the mass. There is the part of the holy sacrifice that you continue to ignore. How can you explain to me is dressing up like a clown or especially satin is that honoring our Lord while he is sacrificing His life in our place?

I am not a traditionalist I am 32 years old and grew up in NO mass. I have been very lucky though to grow up where reverence was always given during mass. And so as a mother whose goal is to get her children to heaven I will speak up when I see these abuses happening in Holy Mother Church. And I am sorry that there are those who will turn a blind eye to such abuses.

neither of these priests dressed inappropriately. and neither did any of the parishioners.

I am also a novus ordo attender. I have had the misfortune to attend latin and tridentine, I am sorry to say it was not as great as I had been led to believe by the traditionalists. what’s worse though is that my assessment is that they truly do not deserve to have these rites/rights reinstalled but this will be proven in time.

the latin and tridentine rites are not special at all. they are unnecessary and not required. I have also been to what the schismatics call the progressive n.o.'s and the ones documented in this thread are not ‘it.’

I am offended by the constant nitpicking, baiting, and harassment done by these schismatics trying to make trouble where there is none.

I will not be silent about it but maybe i should turn a deaf ear on them and allow them to continue their despicable insinuations and rants. These individuals are not catholic; they are heretics and schismatics with a political agenda to break the church.

I have also attended masses that are considered liberal or progressive and do not consider them abusive.

I do find the traditionalists themselves to be abusive and are a danger to the fabric of society as a whole becasue they tend to be abusive people by nature, they really are truly abusive, mean spirited people. i am an eyewitness to their nastiness and abusiveness I am sick of their lies and being accosted by them just so they can whisper their false teachings into my ear about their latest scruple.

the traditionalists are the truly disturbed, in my opinion. and in no way, shape, or form, would I allow my children to associate with them or even attend their services. EVER
