So at the end of spring I took up being a leader of a club in college, and it’s rather important since the club is political (doesn’t matter, not talking about politics) and some parts of the party is dependent on its performance.

However I find that I’m being less and less passionate about it and stressed by small things (like wether or not I said the right thing for the local news) and I want to leave.

But’s been less than a semester and I feel obligated to stay so the club can grow and function since the club isn’t too big.

Any thoughts?

Announce that you are planning to leave at the end of this semester. Stick it out til then, and perhaps help find someone else to lead after you are gone.

Stick your finger in a bowl of water, then remove it from the water. Contemplate the impression you have left

I plan at least until the summer so I go a full year. I feel bad leaving them in only one semester but at the same time I have little motivation to do it other than the commitment I feel towards the other members considering the other two board members are friends
