I would love some feedback . . .
We are starting clubs for girls of all ages at my parish (but open to girls of any parish!) and I am in charge of the middle school girls.
What program would you recommend for girls this age? I think I would like a virtue based program.
We will be meeting about twice a month with the option to do service projects on the off weeks.
Thanks for your help!

The same company that puts out the Little Flowers Girls’ Club for little girls also offers older girl programs that are Catholic: beholdpublications.com/LFGC_home.htm

I don’t know as much about the older girl program but Little Flowers is structured almost exactly as you’ve described: it emphasizes virtues and service.

If your middle school girls are in 9th grade, I would recommend YDisciple from the Augustine Institute.

You can purchase it in DVD form, or via web streaming mode for Parishes (which I highly recommend if this is for your parish)

Also check out ydisciple.org/

NOTE: I’m not sure if it will work for confirmed children in middle school or not, but it was designed for the confirmed high school students. I have heard that they are working on some sessions for confirmed middle school students, but there are not ready yet.

But YDisciple is still worth checking out.

God Bless.

You should have a Challenge Club at your church. They do a lot of activities including some spiritual and fun. Everything they do supports the Catholic Church.
