This really should be put into a ballot.
This really should be a constitutional amendment.

Although one would think that it is already covered in “Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness…” Apparently that is too vague for some supreme court justices.

62% isn’t really that high though. Most laws are not that effective with only that kind of support, especially if those not in agreement are actually opposed rather than indifferent.

Perhaps a more accurate headline would be:

Only One in Four Americans are “Pro-Life”?

I mean the story says 75% favor permitting some/all abortions…

I’m just saying, its easy to lie with statistics…

I don’t believe the Pro-Life movement would be happy with any legislation that would command the support from the majority of the electorate because any susch legislation would have loopholes and exceptions that permit abortions…

Ultimately happy: no. But still would be supportive of further restriction. It would be a huge step forward.

We need a Catholic party here in the U.S. 🙂
Tragically, we already have a “catholic party”, Nancy Pelosi, Joe Biden…etc, who all strongly support & defend abortion rights even though they claim to be “personally” opposed to abortion???

Unfortunately, most “catholics” voted for Mr. Obama, who is the most pro-abortion President ever…

Sancta Maria, Mater Dei, ora pro nobis peccatoribus, nunc et in hora mortis nostrae!

No, not one of those parties. 😉

One like the CDU in Germany - one where people are actually defending Catholic beliefs. 🙂

But, there are some positive DNC beliefs imo, just not many (anymore).
