Unfortunately “Global Warming” is a political and economic issue.
It no longer is a scientific driven argument.

The Official UN document misrepresent the facts and hides the trends in global temperatures.

Look at the claim that “the Artic ice would have disappeared totally by this year” (2013)
That prediction turned as accurate as the end of the world due to the end of the Mayan calendar fiasco.

In fact this year we have had record breaking ice coverage in the artic. But that fact since it flies in the face of the “models” pushed by the polititians that are making bazillion $$ with this, is not reported.

15 years is not a trend. Do you know how long it takes to form a glacier?

1 year of ice coverage hardly matters as glaciers are diminishing.

Glaciers begin to form when snow remains in the same area year-round, where enough snow accumulates to transform into ice. Each year, new layers of snow bury and compress the previous layers. This compression forces the snow to re-crystallize, forming grains similar in size and shape to grains of sugar. Gradually the grains grow larger and the air pockets between the grains get smaller, causing the snow to slowly compact and increase in density. After about two winters, the snow turns into firn—an intermediate state between snow and glacier ice. At this point, it is about half as dense as water. Over time, larger ice crystals become so compressed that any air pockets between them are very tiny. In very old glacier ice, crystals can reach several inches in length. For most glaciers, this process takes over a hundred years.

Over the past 60 to 100 years, glaciers worldwide have tended toward retreat. Alpine glaciers, which are typically smaller and less stable to begin with, seem particularly susceptible to glacial retreat.

All weather comes from the sun and cannot be influenced by human activity. Glaciers come and go on dear planet Earth; we cannot keep them from melting and we cannot keep them from forming. The best thing to help “global warming” is to plant a tree and leave the rest to God.
 
Global warming is a sham. We have sun spots on the sun right now. Similar things have happened in history. This isn’t new. It’s just a bunch of left-wing nutjobs trying to pour their crock of a theory on civilized society.

And of course Intergovernmental Panels can always be trusted, right? And they always go to unbiased people for their info, right?

I do not trust either. Both are very good sources of logical fallacies to make their own political points. Neither is a real source of information but just of opinions.

The report is junk because they were surprised by the findings, then had to figure out how to word it as to not appear to be wrong with popular belief within the community of science itself. You’re losing the argument.

Even the ice prediction and reality you cannot admit, “oh it takes more than 15 years to show a trend.” No one on either side will argue that. But this is what you choose to overlook, this year, 2013, was supposed to be the year all ice would be gone in the same exact place where there is a record level of ice formation…this make thinking people sit back and say, “huuummm. You think the predictions could have been a little exaggerated?” I can answer that one for you, YES! A lot exaggerated!

And then who do you trust for actionable scientific information?
 
“Majority views”

Well, I don’t believe the use of contraceptives is right, and it’s held by a majority.
 
Neither.

In both cases, we find continued promiscuity. A mockery of what sex was meant for. That is most certainly scientific.
