Co-worker with tumor in his Brain

This is a co-worker of mine. Please keep him and his family in your prayers.
It is with great concern that I inform you that Manny has been diagnosed with a tumor of the brain. I talked to Karen (Manny’s wife) and she told me that Manny will be operated on this coming Friday morning. She and Manny do not know anything more but wanted all of us to know because they will need all the prayers that we can offer in the next several weeks. Karen said that they are assuming only the best at this point since they don’t know anything else as to the seriousness of the tumor. She promised to let me know as soon as they know anything after the surgery. Best case scenario is that Manny will be back with us in a couple of weeks part time and full time around the first of the year minus the headaches and fully recovered. That is certainly what we are praying for.

Please remember Manny and his family on Friday morning,

Definately praying for Manny now! Please keep us informed of his condition. Let him know just how many people are praying for him. It will do his heart good!

Update…Not Good news…Keep Praying
Dear All

It is with a heavy heart that I have to tell everyone that Manny has been diagnosed with a very serious tumor. The doctors have said he has a glioblastoma which is the most serious type he could have. I have just come from the hospital to meet with Karen and the family and they have asked that they be alone to absorb what has happened to them today and tomorrow. I promised to pass this wish along. Each of you needs to handle this as best you can and do what you think is considerate of their wishes but also you feel right about. Manny does not know at this time and Karen said that the doctors want to be the ones to tell him so be mindful of that also and be very careful of what you might send in emails that he may see. I don’t know when the doctors will tell Manny what he is dealing with. I mistakenly sent the message to the project team earlier without removing Manny’s name but we were able to delete the message from Manny’s inbox. I believe the message sent earlier went to all of the project team so everyone should know.

I am sorry to have to pass this along and all we can do is pray for Manny and his family through the days ahead and offer to be whatever they need us to be.
