But the most disturbing by far was the suicide forest at the foot of Mount Fuji in Japan. Once you would enter into the forest, you would never come out. The haunted prison grounds were pretty creepy too.

I dont listen to the show, but I have listened to certain guest segments, Missing 411 is very interesting, there was another guy, a Dr (cant recall his name), he would go into hypnosis and they would ask him questions on various subjects, I think it had something to do with the ‘Akashic records’ (if Im spelling that right?).

“Missing 411” is a series of books by David Paulides about people, frequently children, who have disappeared under the most bizarre and mysterious circumstances inside national parks. What a topic. I really can’t get enough of it, it’s so endlessly interesting and spooky as all get-out. The guy I was talking about is Dr. Douglas James Cottrell, here is a 20 minute session where ‘missing 411’ is the topic…It is fascinating!

I listen to it at times. Usually it’s on late when I’m sleeping, but I’ll listen to it if I can’t sleep.

There are definitely some creepy topics that are discussed. Two of them that creep me out the most are “black-eyed children,” and then “shadow people.”

Supposedly no one really knows what either types are, for sure, from my understanding. There’s different theories about them-demonic, alien, etc.

You’re not supposed to let the black-eyed children in if they come knocking at your door. They want to get in to your home-or even your car if you’re out driving. Nooooo! :eek:
 
I was really sad when Art Bell left. I wish I could have heard all the interviews with Malachai. I only heard part of one.

I don’t listen too often anymore. I get tired of the same topics - UFO’s, Bigfoot, Area 51, etc. It comes on late here too and I usually fall asleep before it starts or shortly after.
 
Used to listen when I was younger. It was the only place one could find out the truth, without the government censors…

(just kidding on the whole uncensored truth stuff)

I miss the Art Bell version of “Coast to Coast AM” that was UFO’s, Bigfoot, and Area 51. I miss the tin-foil hats and little green men. Now, it is way way way too political - 9/11 truthers, Obama birthers, bin Laden deathers - and way too many commercials. George Noory is like the new Darrin on “Bewitched” – it’s technically still “Bewitched,” but not really.
 
We listened to the show when Art Bell was the DJ, and we still listen to George N. I do like George in many way’s as he is upbeat, very polite to people calling into the show, and he offers intelligent response’s. I think one night he mentioned he was raised Catholic.
If the show is really on the “dark side” I just turn on some music.

He may be Lebanese Catholic, my friend from Lebanon was named George.
And back to the thread, who can forget about the Chupacabra. Some way out stuff, that, I could never really take serious.

That is quite interesting what you shared about George and his possible Catholic lineage.
I wanted to also add that not all of the shows are on the weird and bizarre side. Many night’s there are guest’s speaking who are professional’s in the field of current world financial event’s here and abroad, and political activity currently going on in many country’s. One night the show was focused on the gentleman who hosted the Twilight Zone on television.

George Noory is a non- practicing Catholic, but Barbara Simpson who co- hosted with Art Bell is an active Catholic who loved talking about her faith and all matters religious. I wish she was still there. Ian Punnett is an Episcopalian deacon but he doesn’t talk about his faith or his personal life at all very much.
