Tea is my good old dependable 🙂 I was trying to think yesterday ,when did I become a coffee drinker? Not long ago it tasted like funny old burnt stuff, and now I have it daily, held captive because it gives me headaches and lethargy if I stop. And because nothing else tastes just so …🤔 😊
i definitely get caffeine withdrawal headaches when i go without coffee over
36 hours.
i didn’t start drinking coffee until i was in
my 30’s. so i have been a coffee drinker for about 35 years.

35 years is a while 🙂 I tried during Lent to give it up,and managed to get half way through but there were family issues going on and I needed to be alert.
I need to drink two cups of water to each cup of coffee to stay properly hydrated now at my age,and I always seem to be running low on H2O.

did you experience caffeine withdrawal?
the headaches last 3-4 days.

I did, I cut down suddenly too,but the headaches dissapeared sooner than I thought.I just didn’t seem to have any energy.
Am trying to have more spiced chai and drinking chocolate now 🙂

good luck! i bought a jar of instant tea today because i have been drinking too much soda. too many calories. i mainly drink coffee in the morning only.

Both. Inclined towards scented ones but Kenyan coffee and various types of Jasmine green tea would be just fine. Tend to take coffee at office and tea at home and leisure. Often include the latter as collections especially when travelling to different countries.

Mostly tea; green, black or herbal, iced or hot depends upon weather and my mood. Mostly hot black tea with milk and stevia, though.

Both…

Coffee gives me energy while tea calms me and my nerves

I’m not supposed to drink either one But I drink both. Coffee is a treat whereas tea is my regular.

They say that in the army
the coffee’s mighty fine,
it’s good for cuts and bruises,
it tastes like iodine,
oh I don’t want no more of army life,
gee lord, I wanna go
right back to buffalo
gee lord, I wanna go home.

(My dad used to sing this, with other verses, when I was a little girl in the 1960s)

Love this…I was literally thinking this morning that CAF doesn’t have enough MASH references and I was going to try and find an appropriate one! Great minds!

Never had a cuppa Joe or a spot of tea. Doctor says that’s good.

Doctor of what, metaphysics? Doctor Demento? Doctor of Jurisprudence?

Both coffee and tea have excellent health benefits.

Most every doctor would agree that the most sensible diet is one of moderation. BTW how is the good doctor on alcohol, milk (raw? pasteurized?), juices, even water (there are more than a few places where ingesting supposedly perfectly good ‘municipal’ or even well water turns up some incredibly hazardous substances). . .

Doctor Who?

The tenth Doctor is able to complete his regeneration and come to the aid of his friends (and the whole earth) because of a spot of tea at just the right moment. :+1:t4:

Coffee. Two or three cups a day w/ half n half and Truvia.

Iced tea occasionally.
