Coincidence, or God?

OK Hi! I was at my great aunt’s funeral yesterday, and it was at a methodist church. At the end, the preacher made some kind of blessing and made the sign of the cross to the people as if he were a priest, then, the lights flickered right then, and later when a lady was telling a story on how she knew she was in heaven, the bible on the preachers lectern dropped on the ground. Now, when the service started, bright and sunny. When we went out for the burial it was POURING. IT was like a movie, just crazy. When the preacher made another blessing like a priest on the casket it was pouring hard enough that we couldn’t hear the preacher talking. Then when it was over, it just stopped. Just crazy. Coincidence, or God? What do you think.

hahha no mid Atlantic. And just the timing was seriously odd, along with it being Protestant.

The weather is always goofy, especially in the US northeast. I’d not waste too much thought on it.

My vote is: coincidence.

I don’t think God goes in for subtle meanness; and these occurences- if one personifies a will behind them; just sound mean.

And who knows, maybe it was demonic - Satan trying to discourage non-Catholics from starting to accept good Catholic practices rather than rejecting them.
