Hey, my name is Matt and I am a college seminarian. Incase you do not know what a college seminarian is, it is basically the same thing as a major seminarian; someone studying to be a Roman Catholic priest. In order to attend a major seminary, one must have a college degree of atleast a bachelors. Since I do not have one, and because I wanted to go to the seminary after high school, I went through the same application process as a major seminarian but was sent to a college seminary program for college age students.

I just wanted to make people aware that there ARE college seminarians. I am 19 and I love the seminary. Hope I have taught people something and also I hope I have given people something too look forward too. Seminarians are still coming. The church will get more priests. I also wanted to let young people know that VOCATIONS ARE EVERYBODYS BUISNESS.

Every Catholic male should consider a vocation to the priesthood. If you read this and you would like to chat, I would love to chat. Whether your a young guy looking into the seminary or a young lady looking into becoming a nun, I would love to chat with you and share my expereiences thus far. Here are ways you can reach me.

www.buzzen.com/chat <<< I am always in the chat room **CATHOLICCHATII **so, create a nick name and come on in. I am known as Matt the Seminarian in the room.

HAVE_FAITH_IN_CHRIST << My yahoo messenger. Add @yahoo.com to shoot me an email.

Hope to chat with you soon!

The crowd is loud but the cross is louder! Are you being called to be a priest, brother, or sister? Answer the call!

God bless you, Matt.

Thank you for your encouraging message.
I ask Jesus to give you all the graces you need to become everything He desires of you. I ask him to counter any difficulties and challenges that come your way.
I’ll keep you in my prayers.

Warm regards, Trishie

College Seminarians are the best! I am in first college for KCK.

It is nice to hear of more young seminarians- they will be ordained when they’re 25-26 years old or so. I believe it’s important for today’s youth to see men who are close to their age as priests. Priests who start formation late, and are ordained when they are in their late 30’s and into their 40’s (and older) are great- I’m glad to have them- but it REALLY helps youth (as well as young adults) to hear a voice close to their age speaking for the Church- as a priest- to win souls for Christ.
