I also don’t think he realizes that you can remain a virgin until marriage… should I ask my 22yo, 19yo and 17 yo’s to have a word with him about waiting for marriage??? They have all vowed to remain virgins until marriage…

No, can you give an example, you already “showed” a religious one, how about one that has to do more with reality?
Fulrthermore, whether you sin one or over & over all your life, you’re equaly guilty & “deserving” off going to hell, or non existing (depending what you believe).

Furthermore, in Catholicism, aren’t people saved by faith alone?

If she loses her virginity in this manner, it will be her dumb choice to abuse the gift that God gave her. Her intimate life should be private. I think it is sad that she is making it a circus of it.

The thing about the parents and honoring them, she is a grown woman. I would feel awkward if my parents knew I was selling myself on the internet.:o

Actually, the price is very high, for anyone who sleeps with someone before marriage. Guilt, regret, sadness, sometimes disease, on and on…are the byproducts (the prices) of having sex outside of marriage. Even if women you have known don’t seem to exhibit those signs of regret, deep down, they do. The price is high for sin. I have not sinned in that way, but in other ways, and the price was always high.😦

Money can buy things, not happiness. Can’t buy peace of mind. Can’t buy self respect. It can buy a college education, etc. If all it took was money to make us all happy–we wouldn’t see most of Hollywood, who are millionaires, so unhappy, strung out on alcohol and drugs, and commiting suicide. We wouldn’t see so many divorces from wealthy people. Wealth buys things, it doesn’t buy happiness.

I can’t help but wonder if this is in a way, a shot at humiliating her parents, who are not paying for her college, one can take from this ‘advertisement.’ I can’t imagine they are all too happy with this. I wonder if really, it’s not anything more than that. Just seems like a strange thing to do, just out of the blue.
