Charlotte, NC – A national pro-life group for college students has uncovered new information revealing that college students who attend public universities in North Carolina will be forced to pay for abortions via their required student health care plan.

Should a JW student be forced to pay for others’ blood transfusions just because they wouldn’t receive one?
 
The article quoted does not mean that Students are “forced” to pay for abortion. Other private healthcare schemes are available:
Students who do not already have private health insurance are required to buy a state selected policy from Pearce & Pearce, Inc.

The state-selected policy should be changed however; I do agree - as uninformed students might contribute unwillingly.

That said; what a stupid policy – forcing people to have insurance? What about religious groups that don’t believe in insurance (particularily anabaptists). I would refuse to pay and just dare the college to do something about it.
