Catholic Answers has reviewed the Collegeville Bible Commentary and determined that it suffers from a number of grave problems. Principally, the commentary makes inappropriate use of higher critical speculation, is out of touch with the Catholic interpretive and theological tradition, and portrays a dissident theological agenda. As such, we cannot recommend this as a trustworthy work.
