Colors of Islam

What is the significance of the color GREEN in Islam? (Qurans are usually green). Also, why are the colors black, red, and green on the flags of so many Islamic countries? What do these colors represent and what is their importance?
 
Although I dont know about the colors, I can tell you that the crescent moon came from the Ottoman empire’s early years. Its not actually islamic.

Colors might be the same deal, but I dont know.

I think somebody just liked those colors and nobody else objected? Any way I do know that they don’t have any religious meaning.

hmmm. I will make a wild guess. Green is for paradise? I know I read it somewhere. Anyway, I will just see if any Muslim here will give a better reply.

as for the other colors, I think they don’t have anything to do with Islam.

They have no meanig, the reason why they are used, somebody else would have to fill that in but my original guest still stands.

Hello all. The colors really don’t have any meaning as far as my knowledge. However the Prophet peace be upon him taught us that we should wear white and bury our dead in white.
 
Yeah its white thats supposed to be the fav color .
I dont knwo anything about green lol .
