The question you have asked is a tough one and one I’ve been wrestling with. Most Catholics including myself would prefer to evangelize by example,. This is easy: just try to be the best Catholic you can be and others will be motivated to follow your example. Actively evangelizing others takes us way out of our comfort zone. There is a perception that it is somewhat unsavoury. It’s been hundreds of years, if ever that ordinary Catholics have been called upon to stand on street corners.
But these are extraordinary times. I still have to think it through.
