This is obvious political.

There is no such thing as Stasi-like tactics. All security services engage in spying. Ever heard of the Five Eyes. It is not unique to the Stasi.

In fact. the Stasi is fairly mild. They didn’t engage in mass murder or torture, unlike many US supported military dictatorships.
