Hi,
I’ve been raised catholic, but my family gradually stopped going to church when I was about 11. I used to serve mass with my sister. When I entered High School, I realized for the first time that there were children who didn’t believe at all in God. I gradually stopped believing for the following years, and even wanted to quit the church at some time in my life. For the time I didn’t believe, I filled my spiritual hole with random stuff like Vegetarianism and Esperanto. I was finally enlightened: as a non-believer, I was bound to get involved in random causes and believe strongly in them. This time is now finished, because I realized that religion is something important I should not try to avoid. I began to come back to faith, and started reading the Bible on my own. I accept the fact that I need to believe. However, at the exception of my mother, nobody is really opened to the idea of going to church on sundays again my family. I don’t really have the time to do it. I need some way to pratice my religion at home. Would anybody have advice on how to be a good christian at home, even if I can’t manage to go to mass often? I will probably try to go to church more often in the future, but I’d like some advice for now.
