I feel a calling,
An urge of a different kind.
The Spirit guides me to a new faith,
More loving, leave my cares behind.

An unction never known before,
A change in the wind, the opening of a new door.
The Lord and my Mother, Jesus and Mary,
Standing side by side, my heart with love adores.

I’m coming Home,
A place never known, so welcoming and sweet.
To be a Catholic Christian, a joyous life,
When finally confirmed, my new family to greet.

God bless your poetic spirit. May it be a means of love and thanks and praise and inspiration to you and to others!

I ask God to enlighten and keep you faithful even when your heart is less glad. In the difficulties of life, God grant that you will continue to praise.

“Happy the person who stands firm when trials come. He has proved himself, and will win the prize of life, the crown that the Lord has promised to those who love Him.” [James 1:12]

“Nothing can become between us and the love of Christ, even if we are worried or troubled, or being persecuted, or lacking food or clothes, or being threatened or even attacked. These are the trials through which we triumph, by the power of Him who loved us.” [Romans 8:35-37]
