Is is pretty standard / orthodox / long standing understanding and teaching of Revelation of John and its meaning ?
I know it has an imprimatur and nihil obstat but I understand that to mean only that it isn’t teaching any doctrinal error. It doesn’t mean that the particular view is long standing rather only means it isn’t wrong.
In any case for those who have actually read this work is this the long standing Catholic interpretations ?
