The 2008 presidential campaign kicks off in two days with the premier of the ABC television show, COMMANDER IN CHIEF.

They are attempting to prepare us Americans for Hillary’s arrival into the Oval Office, and it makes me mad! This is the only show that I see advertised on billboards and busses around town.

I wonder they’ll go so far as to make the actress look like her?

Seeing the previews, I dont see any resemblance between Geena Davis and Hillary Clinton.

I totally see this show as propaganda for a woman President, but I will be watching to see if its any good. I cant stand the West Wing; feels too much like L.A. Law in its approach to story, acting, etc.

I think it is a part of the main stream media’s attempt to plant a seed into the American people that its time for a woman to be President, their candidate in 2008 is of course Hilliary Clinton and she has a very good chance of winning. Hopefully the show wont be a success. We need a pro life commander in chief first and foremost.

If the Democrats are going to put Hillary up for the presidency, then the Republicans will have to respond in kind. Kay Bailey Hutchinson, Elizabeth Dole, or Condoleeza Rice would be good choices to go against Hillary. Yes, I know that they may not be pro-life to some people’s satisfaction, but are any of them that can win? Consider the alternative.

CONDI FOR PRESIDENT!!!

lol - yeah so yes I do lean that way - but no matter which side of the political you might fall on, I just think that a two women race would be really interesting, and that it would also make it fair. Anytime you might have a woman run for president, theres going to be issues. If a republican woman ran for president against a man, I know some conservative guy friends from highschool who would vote for any male over even a conservative woman. Of course it wouldn’t quite work the same way to the other side, but you get the point - there are a lot of issues at stake here, and personally I’m all for having a two woman race and being guaranteed of the first female President!

I would like Elizabeth Dole or Condi Rice to run. 👍

If a woman is the best shot of defeating Hilliary then I would pick Condi, or Dole. Personally I like McCain(not sure on the spelling).

Umm, dude? It’s a TV SHOW. It isn’t the 2008 presidential campaign, anymore than the show LOST is anti-airplane propaganda. Surely there are more important hills to die for.

It’s a bit more than a tv show, it’s a tool for the main stream media to use to promote Hilliary.

That’s a bit of a stretch.

A couple of years ago we’d have thought it was a stretch for a highly-regarded news anchor to use phony documents to make the president look bad and then stand by them for weeks after the documents were thoroughly debunked.

I don’t put anything past MSM, any more. Time after time, they were complicit in their support of Kerry in the last election. What *wouldn’t *they do to get a liberal back into office? (Not much!)

Yeah, and Invasion is trying to prepare us for an invasion of terrorists that look just like us and My Name Is Earl is trying to get us to buy the new age idea of karma. :rotfl:

CONDI for President!!! That’s a sitcom I’d watch.

When did Hillary even announce she was running?

My goodness people… it’s a TV show !! Where is all this panic coming from?

Condi for President - The sitcom, will be on UPN as a lead in for Girlfriends… and I won’t watch that one either…

Its pretty much known and discussed by both sides that Hillary wants to run…

And I chimed in because I like saying Condi for President, not because I have any real opinion on this show (I had intended to tune in and watch it but I forgot)

I forgot to watch it, too, but I meant to. I don’t care if our next president is a man or a woman. I vote for who most closely represents what’s important to me. It’s ridiculous to think that in this day and age a woman needs a TV show to tell her it’s OK to run for president or vote for a woman president. What about all the other women who hold positions of power? Did they decide to run for congress, governor, etc because they saw a character on TV hold that particular office? If Hillary’s people don’t have enough confidence in her abilities and merits, then a TV show isn’t going to help much. Just my opinion.

The radio said that this was a poorman’s West Wing. Since I haven’t seen either, is this the case?

I do think, like with Will and Grace and the like, that as the lemmings some seem to be, we are being desensitized to the possibility of a woman president.

I don’t think I would mind Rice on a ticket as VP, but we’ll see.

I guess it is just a coincidence that the head writer is a long-time Clinton supporter that formerly held a top position in the Clinton Campaign. Surely Hollywood would not engage in pro-Clinton propaganda.

I do admire Dr. Rice but she has said that she isn’t interested in running for President. She wants to head the National Football League! Look out, Paul Tagliabue!🙂

You figured it out: it’s a vast left wing conspiracy.
