As a post script, even pre script, bottom line is may we show Christ’s love and compassion towards all Muslims, and anyone, who is not treated fairly and with the inalienable, God given dignity that we are taught by our ‘religion’, and even are to guarantee with our form of government.

Blessings and Happy New Year to all.
Amen

I do not think this writer “gets it”. He is not an island. He is interconnected to all mankind. Those with whom he has closer associations, he is more connected. This is why good family members of a person who turns to evil will be the first to express sorrow and denounce the violence of their son, daughter, or other relative. This is why Muslilms of good faith all over the world are willing to denounce terrorism when a Muslim attacks, and why people in the South denounced the evil action quickly and willingly of the incident the author refers to.

I will assume the author is simply ignorant and not actual a support of such violence. Shame on the Chicago Tribune for post such a piece. Terrorism needs no apologists.
