Commit to read Advent Office Readings!

**This has been a goal I have tried for almost 15 years. I have yet to achieve it all.

I want to commit to read the Advent Office Readings everyday through December 25th (and may through the entire Christmas Season).

Will you join me? The readings are the most profound and beautiful writings that truly are for us ~ to prepare the way.

It would enjoy sharing what touched our souls each day. There is always wisdom in sharing our Advent journey!

**In looking at the daily office reading I could see how it might seem too long.

How about if we agree to at least read the Second Reading - which is always taken from the Church’s traditions, writings and documents.

I am obviously late to the party…is there any room at this inn? 🙂
 
I was doing only one nocturne at vigils every day (but both readings) with the psalmody on a two week cycle as allowed by the schema I use. For advent I am doing both nocturnes with the psalmody on a one week cycle. It’s working out pretty well I just have to wake up 5 minutes earlier and not dawdle over breakfast. I will keep it up year round I think.
