Hi all. I am a servant of the most high God and our LORD Jesus Christ. The Catholic Church has a long history. Currently history is being made with the emergence of the New Jerusalem calendar. It is a brand new floor for the Church to launch it into the New Jerusalem era. It has a common date for Easter on March 1/22 year after year.

Highlights of the changes! A fresh new calendar to unite all of us!
Alpha Omega New Year’s Day on the Vernal Equinox
March becomes the First month of the year. September becomes the Seventh month. Sept 11 is now 7-11 not 9-11.
Passover (March 1/14)
Easter (March 1/22)
Pentecost (May 3/8)
Day of Atonement (Sept 7/10)
Festival of Lights Christmas (Dec 1-8)
and much, much more!

Christmas has a large history. Both with pagan and Christian associations. Many know Jesus was not born on Dec 25 so in the New Jerusalem Catholic Church

Christmas has been adjusted to the 8th day of the Festival of Lights from Dec 10/1-8. We celebrate God/Jesus as the Father/Son of lights(truths). The birthday celebration has been moved.
December is the tenth month now on the new calendar. The conception of Jesus is on Sunday Dec 10/1 and 9 months later the birthday of Jesus is on the Feast of Trumpets Sept 7/1. You can put your manger scenes out in the warm weather now.
September is the 7th month now.
Sept=7
Dec=10

We are to build the New Jerusalem Catholic Church and make history!

I look forward on your comments on how we can all work together to bring the Church into the era of the New Jerusalem Kingdom of God on Earth.

Today is Fri Nov 9/20 on the new calendar.

The current church calenders are fine. The calender (for most) is not all that big of an issue and those that have a problem with the current calender arrangements would definetely take serious issue with your proposal. Never mind the fact that you seem to be promoting your own church. The Orthodox Catholic Church already exists and it is the way, the truth, and the light of the world.

Actually the church roman gregorian calendar needs a lot of work. If a person was to read the Bible they can see that the story of Jesus crucifixion happens during the Feast of Unleavened Bread which is in the first month 1/15-21 according to the Word of God the Bible. Then Jesus arose on Easter 1/22.

Since March is the first month on the revised calendar, the story of Jesus crucifixion happening during the days of Unleavened Bread will match what is in the Bible.

A common date for Easter on March 1/22 would be great to see. All the churches in harmony.

The Church does not really do dates the way we do with the standard Secular Calendar.

Advent is the beginning of the Church year for the Latin Catholic Church, so if we were doing dates that way then today would be 1/7.

The Byzantine Liturgical Calendar starts at the beginning of September.

This New Jerusalem calendar is to unite all churches as one for the New Jerusalem Kingdom of God on Earth. On this calendar the birthday of John the Baptist is on
March 1/1 as his spirit declares the rest of the year of the LORD.

I guess this is another church to add to the protestants ever growing list! 🤷

This one actually replaces all roman gregorian based church foundations. It is truly for the New Jerusalem Kingdom of God on Earth.

So you are proposing liturgical unity based on YET ANOTHER Calendar change?

As it is written, the only thing people learn from history is that they learn nothing from history.

Because the last calendar change had such a unifying effect on the Church? :rolleyes:

Well, if you’re on the Old Calendar, you get GREAT deals on Christmas cards, wrapping paper & trees and you make a killing on Easter candy;)

Your dates of the crucifixion and resurrection are off. The crucifixion was on 14 Nisan and the resurrection was on either 16 or 17 Nisan, with Nisan being the first month of the year.

I kind of like the idea of our calendar beginning with the advent of Spring, as that would follow the pattern of life - Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter - and seems to make more sense. However, this New Jerusalem CC business is a bit odd. Humorous, but odd.
