In anticipation of a renewed sense of respect for Latin in the liturgy (I’m reading Sacramentum Caritatis), I’d like to start learning common prayers of the Mass in Latin, such as the Confiteor, the Pater noster, the Ave Maria, and some of the chants (Sanctus, sanctus, sanctus, whatever is we’d say after mysterium fidei, and the Agnus Dei).

Now, I can find the Latin texts for these, and I can probably find an easy-to-follow pronounciation guide, too. But I’d still like to find an audio guide, a web site with sound files of the prayers. No offense to whoever the SSPX priest on YouTube is (the one with a couple dozen of videos on the TLM liturgy), but when he says the prayers in Latin it sounds rushed and incomprehensible.

So, does anyone know of an online audio guide to the prayers of Novus Ordo liturgy in Latin?

I’ve used this site to learn the Ave Maria. It has the audio for all the prayers of the rosary both at regular and slow speeds so you can clearly hear the pronounciation. The link underneath is the same site, but has a few other prayers in Latin, some with audio some without it.

…and thanks for reminding me that I should be working on the Pater Noster. 😛
