Hey that’s a really good story. Thanks for the reply. On days I feel well Sometimes I go to an early mass and attend Southland ( my old church) with my family. It was only on days my only option was Southland that I would take communion, when and only when I couldn’t make it to mass. I didn’t think it was a big deal, However the general consensus disagrees with me so I’m going to refrain from doing that. I know going to another church doesn’t fulfill my Sunday obligation so on days I can get to mass I will certainly do it, even though it’s about fifteen miles from my residence. Being on disability I’m on and extreme limited income so sometimes finding a means to get there is difficult, however I will certainly try to make it. I don’t want people to think I’m just saying what the heck I’ll do Mass another time. That’s not the case. I know you know that, but I think I left that impression with some others who read my post. Congrats on getting your father to convert and I’m so sorry you lost him my friend. My heart goes out to you. Nothing harder than losing loved ones. My mother And father converted to Catholicism per my requests. My Dad never really went to Church and my Mom converted for me. They went through a divorce and my Dad is a workaholic who hasn’t been to church since the months following his confirmation. He’s a truck driver so he’s always on the road too. My Mom had a bad experience with CHRP and decided to go back to Southland with her parents, brothers and sisters, my older brother and his wife and kids. People have suggested I evangelize and bring them to the Catholic Church. I have done my absolute best in that regard. I feel that’s all I can do. Plant seeds and allow God to do his thing. Thank you brother. God bless.
