As a recent convert from the Anglican church, can I receive Communion there, if I return to worship with them occasionally? I cannot find anything in the Catechism or Canons, that says that I cannot. I realize that theirs is strictly a symbolic sacrament so I don’t see any harm in participating. By “sitting out” I may be viewed as thinking that I am now better than they, and I don’t want to do that.
Thanks for your help.

Can. 844 §1. Catholic ministers administer the sacraments licitly to Catholic members of the Christian faithful alone, who likewise receive them licitly from Catholic ministers alone
Catholics may only receive sacraments (i.e. Eucharist) from Catholic ministers. The only exception to this would be if someone was completely unable to receive a sacrament from a Catholic minister **and **the local non-Catholic church had valid sacraments (which in the case of the Anglican communion would be invalid).
