I often hear Protestants ask “Where is intercession from teh SAints in Heaven in the Bible?” I want to turn that question around. Where in the Bible does it say that those who have gone before us are cut off from us? I thinj that we can agree that those in heaven are even more alive than we are! So where does the Bible say that the Saints in heaven are oblivious to us on earth, and that they are removed form the communion of believers?

That website has a lot of support on where in the bible we find evidence of having intercession from the saints… etc Eph. 3:14-15 states that we are one family a COMMUNION with heaven and earth. I know that 2 Maccabes discusses prayers to the dead, but I’m not 100% sure where. Hope this helps!!

I know that Communion of the Saints is in th Scriptures. I was trying to pry out of Protestants where they determined that those who have gone before us have been removed from said communion.
